Empower2Make Makeathon
72 hour event where participants are broken up into six groups, each working with a person with a disability to design and fabricate a machine or product to help them with daily tasks. Our group worked with John, an 11 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy to create a voice activated shelving system that would automatically move a specified shelf to his waist at arm level for easy access.
